5 Minute Face Paints – Father Christmas

In the New Year we will be running a series on Face Painting and Special Effects make up.  Now we, (and by we I mean myself), are by now means experts, in fact we have never done this before, so it will be a learning experience for us all!  What we aim to do is bring you some different aspects when it comes to make up, part of that will be the 5 Minute Face Paints.

CaptureWe have used make up and tools from Snazaroo.  If you haven’t heard of them, they are one of the leading suppliers in face painting supplies and have a wide range of products to buy, from paints, brushes and sponges, to specialised kits and books.  For our face painting series we will be using the Snazaroo Mini Starter Kit (£32.50), it comes with everything needed to do up to 300 faces!  Inside the kit you get 6x 18ml Face Paints (White, Black, Bright Red, Bright Yellow, Sky Blue and Grass Green), 2 High Density Sponges, 3 x Fun Faces Painting Brushes (1 x Round, 1 x Fine, 1 x Flat), 1 x 12ml Silver Glitter Gel, 1 x Step-by-Step Face Painting Guide and an all-in-one Easy-clean Kit Box.

We thought as it is almost Christmas and the season to be jolly is certainly upon us, that we would do a couple of tutorials for festive faces.  The tutorials are simple but effective and shouldn’t take you more than five minutes, (give or take), we want to create how to’s that you can do easily and so we have done our best to make them as straightforward as possible, remember we are learning too.

So, without further ado…
