The classic yoga sitting pose is the best for starting your relaxing unwind before bed. Sit pretzel style and gently lay your hands on your knees with your palms back. Sit with your eyes closed for a full 60 seconds with breathing deeply from your core
2. Winding Down Twist
Sit sukhasana style and gently turn your body to the right 90 degrees. Hold this pose for one full minute and then turn your body to the left for a full minute. Deep breaths. Let your body feel sleepy.
3. Child’s Pose
Sit in a kneeling position and gently sit back on your calves. Taking deep breaths slowly lean forward and lay your body on the floor with your arms stretched out. Lay in this pose for 2-3 minutes.
4. Upside Down Relaxation
Lay with on your back with your legs stretched up on the wall. Let your legs lay against the wall in a comfortable position. Let your arms lay gently at your side.
5. Corpse Pose
A little morbid for bed, but trust me! You’ll feel relaxed and sleepy after this. Lay on your back with your arms and legs laying gently at your side. Palms up and legs tilted out. Take 5 deeps breaths and feel yourself gently feel sleepy.
