Beating Winter Redness & Sensitivity

Winter can play havoc with our skin, even if you do not suffer with sensitivity as a rule, or a condition such as rosacea, when Winter descends skin can easily suffer with awful redness, sensitivity, as well as suffering with dryness and flaking.

It can be caused by a combination of the cold weather and its bitter icy winds and rain, which is then made worse by the conditions inside.  Central heating is awful for our skins, drying it out an causing all sorts of itching and red patches.

One way to combat the effects of the older months is to change your skincare regime to one that is specifically designed to tackle wintry issues.  One such range is Kalme.

A skincare range that will actively work to target redness, itching and breakouts, as well as containing sun protection, antioxidants and a wonderful moisturiser.  In short Kalme works against redness and skin sensitivity.

The program consists of three creams:

  • Kalme Cream Cleanser
  • Kalme Day Defense
  • Kalme Night Cream

Each of the products contain a patented caper extract that is said to help reduce redness and sensitivity by up to 70%, it is called Derma Sensitive.  This means that the skin is soothes, calmed and nourished, all the time working to ease redness.

Zinc Oxide is also in the range this is a wonderful ingredient that helps the lessen inflammation and target spotty breakouts.

Kalme Skincare is also free from the nasties we don’t in our skincare, including MI, parabens, perfumes and SLS.

Of course, during the Winter season the sun is still out and this means that the skin needs to be protected even though we aren’t tanning ourselves.  So, Kalme Day Defense  has a certified Sun Protection Factor of 30 (SPF30).

One of the most important factors in the Kalme skincare range is the moisturisation.  To soothe and calm the skin it is packed full of vitamins and contains natural rice bran.  Both of these ingredients are incredibly good for the skin, but when used in conjunction with fatty acids the skin becomes stronger and less sensitive.

  1. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit,
but other than that, this is excellent blog.
A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

  2. Hello this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use
WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone
with experience. Any help would be enormously
