Set in New York in 1974, Chris played by Clive Owen is released from prison after several years inside. Reluctant to be there Frank (Billy Crudup) is there to him up. Chris was in prison for murder whilst Frank has become a cop with a bright future.
This is the story of these two brothers, on totally different paths apart from what ties them together – Blood.
Upon Release from prison, Frank gives Chris a chance, in hopes that prison has changed him. He shares his home, he helps him get a job and talks to his family to forgive old wounds.
Chris’s inevitable descent into crime again proves to break the blood ties down. Frank banishes him from his life but the brothers’ destinies are forever connected.
For the first time in a while, Blood Ties is a joint release in cinemas and at home (on demand and digital download). So this is an ideal film for a evening in with a nice bit of popcorn.
