Brazilian Kadhai Prawn Stew (Moqueca De Camaroes)

  1. Our Little Secret Kadhai meal kit
  2. 1 1/2 lbs raw prawns, peeled & de-veined
  3. 1/4 cup olive oil
  4. 1/4 cup onion, dice
  5. 1 garlic clove, minced
  6. 1/4 cup roasted red pepper, diced
  7. 7 ounces diced tomatoes
  8. 7 ounces diced green chillies
  9. 1/2 cup of coconut milk (or whole cream if you don't want it as sweet)
  10. 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  11. Salt and pepper
  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Sauté onions for several minutes until translucent, then add the garlic and peppers and cook for several minutes more.
  3. Add the tomatoes, prawns and cilantro to the pan and simmer gently until the shrimp turns opaque.
  4. Add Our Little Secret Kadhai sauce and herbs provided. Stir
  5. Pour in coconut milk, stir and simmer
  6. Heat rice in microwave just before sauce is ready to serve
  7. Add lime juice and season with salt and pepper to taste
  8. Serve with rice
