Calypso Sun Lotions – Review

0

We got the chance to try out 3 of the latest sun Lotions/creams that are on offer from Calypso.

Calypso All School Day Long:
All School day Long SPF 40 150ml (£17.99)

All school day long Tube 40

Description:Sun protection lotion for kids. SPF factor 40. This moisturising formula is allergen free and only requires a once a day application.

Thoughts: Good. It is perfect for the scenario it sets out to cover. We tried it out for a week with once a day use. It seemed to work well.

Big plus with the factor 40 – higher the factor better coverage it will give.

Calypso Once a day Sun Protection:
Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 10 200ml (£13.99)

Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 20 100ml (£ 8.99) – 200ml (£14.99)

Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 30 200ml – (£15.99) • Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 40 150ml – (£17.99) • Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 50+ 150ml (£19.99) • Sizes include 100ml, 150ml and 200ml

Description:It is Suitable for all. Apply once only and is non staining. Active after 15 minutes. UVA/UVB protection. Once a day sun protection – provided you follow the instructions.

Thoughts: Not the traditional colour of lotion but it works just the same. We got the SPF50+ Version and it did the job well.

Once a day SPF30

Calypso Dry Oil Wet Skin:
Dry Oil Wet Skin Spray SPF 6 – 200ml (£5.99)
Dry Oil Wet Skin Spray SPF 10 – 200ml (£6.49)

Dry Oil Wet Skin Spray SPF 15 – 200ml (£7.49)

Dry Oil Wet Skin Spray SPF 30 – 200ml (£8.49)

Description: Specially formulated for wet and dry skin, its water resistance and a non-greasy solution which helps protect skin. Scalp protection from UVA/UVB rays, helping to prevent premature ageing from the sun’s harmful rays. Suitable to apply full body, scalp protection from UVA/UVB rays.

Thoughts: Its a weird one. We got the SPF 6 Version and it feels like water. We asume that the bigger SPF will have that same feel. So if we at the beach it should be fine but we are unsure.
