imageYou have had an exciting career, can you tell us more about yourself and how you ended up where you are now?

Thank you. I come a very media orientated family, they are a extremely talented bunch. When I was younger I actually wanted to be a singer but realised I couldn’t sing. Around 17 I realised I was a very tall young lady lol and I often got told I should be a model. I love the fun and glamour of modelling but I also love the fact you can express so much through a photograph and become so many different characters.

Congratulations on being announced as Miss Jamaica 2014, what was involved in earning that prestigious title?

A lot of discipline actually. On the lead up to the pageant I lost 2 stone and just worked on myself from the inside out to become a more confident and happier version of myself. Also educating myself more on my country and getting ready to be the best ambassador I can be for my country.

Beauty is obviously something important to you being a  model on QVC, what is your must have product?

I am such a Bobbi Brown fan, for me I’d have to say their hydrating face cream from the skin care range.

What is your daily beauty routine?

At night I cleanse with a tea tree oil cleanser, then wash with simple face wash twice and three times if I’ve had heavy makeup on. I then use tea tree oil toner to remove any excess then go over with Bobbi Brown hydrating face tonic, hydrating eye cream and Bobbi Brown serum followed by their hydrating face cream.

In the morning I use simple face wash, hydrating Bobbi Brown tonic, eye cream and hydrating face cream,  followed by Smash Box primer if I’m applying makeup.

If you could only pick three beauty products to use for the rest of your life, what would they be and why?

  1.  Avon skin so soft body nourishment, so I can always have beautiful hydrated skin on my body.
  2. Bobbi Brown’s hydrating face cream to keep my skin soft, smith and glowing all the time.
  3. Benefit bad gal mascara to make my eyes pop.

What is in your handbag?

Too much!!! (Laughs)
Purse, 2 makeup bags (one with products, one with applicators), bottle of water, house keys, mobile phone, pen, umbrella, deodorant and hand cream.
