image007Greetings With Hallmark

Most people send Christmas Cards and when it comes to those nearest and dearest, we all want something a little special.  This year Hallmark have come up with the most incredible range including pop up cards and 3D ones, all in enchanting designs.

Mantlepiece Majesty

Hallmark have created a fabulous range of boxed luxury cards this year that can be bought for as little as £8 for a box of five.  Now there is something rather special about this range, each card has something unique to match the loved ones in your life.

image001The Christma Dove is simplistic elegance, a textured ivory background on which a sparkling golden dove hangs, surrounded by silver stars.

The Pop-Up Christmas Tree is set on a smooth cream card with the tree drawn in smoky greys and little delicate leaf cut outs, with golden shimmering blooms and topped with a cute little red Robin.

The Christmas Scene is a card that at first looks to be a standard card depicting a pretty snowy scene.  Once out of the envelope though, the card can be expanded to create a 3D effect that brings the scene to life.

The Pop Up Festive House is the best Christmas card ever seen at Erisea HQ, in fact it made Erika, (one of our Editors In Chief) squeal with delight.  As you take the card out of the envelope it pops open and becomes this fantastic little 3D house, the sweetest little house that ever was!

The rest of the new range is just as exciting and will leave you in a conundrum as to who to send which card to who!

Racing Elf Crackers, Ref 44318, £19.99Racing Elf Crackers

Christmas Crackers have been a tradition at our Christmas dinner table for many years.  In fact on the back of our Racing Elf Crackers, we learn that they actually date back to Victorian times when people would place sugared almonds and a little motto in twisted paper.  A confectioner was one day creating some to sell when a ‘jet of resin burst into flames from his log fire’.  He decided that this would be a great thing to include in these love token crackers and so the log shape and snap were added to the motto and the sweet.  By the end of the century the tradition was part of Christmas across the nation.

The Racing Elf Crackers are made in the traditional way containing a snap, joke, party hat and, instead of a sweet, each of the six crackers contain a racing elf!  Once everyone has on their hats, has told their jokes and eaten their food, the long awaited Elf Race can commence with the track that is included in the box, there are even names for the elves!

A fabulous alternative to small trinkets, these crackers will add a little excitement to any Christmas table.

Available from Lakeland for £19.99
