About

“Color Assembler is an abstract color mixing puzzle game. Connect the starting colors to various shapes that manipulate colors in their unique way. The goal is to create the target color.”

Match colours to fit into the shape on the right. It gets harder as you go.

Overall, the goal of each puzzle is to create a chain of correctly coloured light to reach the target shape.  In the early levels matching the colours is easy but then the shape symbols around the target need to be alligned too.

As shown in the pictures the “light sources” aka the donut shapes have corresponding shapes too.  So aligning the correct symbols to match the target becomes a challenge.  Mixing and matching with the “light combiners” to then take it to the target adds extra levels of thought to the hame.

Gameplay

Remembering how colours combine is the key to success.

Very minimalist look and feel. No words are in the game, including weirdly its option menu.  Once the game clicks for the player it works well.

The player can use the knowledge from the game levels to setup the game in the options menu.  All options controls act as a puzzle themselves.

Our Thoughts

A good game with a great minimalist look, feel and sound.  It cracked us up how long it took for us to realise how to play the game – we were bouncing the target shape around the screen rather than connecting the light sources.

A good game worth the pick up.
