Daily Skincare With Nu Skin

Last week we introduced you to Nu Skin, a skincare brand that caters for many pockets and that aims to look after you inside and out.  Our first glance at Nu Skin was focused on one of their high end gift boxes that created a complete daily routine, but that could have been a little too expensive for some, so we are this week looking at another of their ranges that offer a lower price without compromising on quality.

Creamy Cleansing Lotion

For many people, using soap on their face can cause a breakout of blotches, uncomfortable red itchy patches and even dry skin.  Nu Skin have created this Creamy Cleansing Lotion that contains absolutely no soap at all, instead using soy lipids.  This means that the nature moisture barrier on the skin is not damaged when cleaning your face, leaving it better hydrated.  Hydration is further enhanced by the use of Meadowfoam Seed Oil which also helps to soften the skin.  If the skin is sensitive then the presence of algae, Mugwort and Licorice extracts ensure that it is calmed and soothed.

For 150 ml, Creamy Cleansing Lotion is just £18.67 from Nu Skin’s online store.

pH Balance Toner

As with soap causing the issues outlined above, it and other products can cause an imbalance in the skin’s pH level.  The pH Balance Toner does as you would expect it to, given the name, and that is to return the skin to it’s natural pH level, much healthier for you and your skin.  It does this using a combination of key ingredients:

  • Hyaluronic Acid, along with Sodium PCA will lock moisture to the skin, keeping it hydrated.
  • Strawberry extract is packed with Vitamin C and polyphenols which help to soothe the skin while providing protection against antioxidants.
  • The soothing effect is further increased by the use of Camphor and Algae.

For 150ml, pH Balance Toner is just £16.70 from Nu Skin’s online store.

Moisture Restore Day with SPF 15

The final step in the daily routine is to moisturise the face.  Moisture Restore Day does this with SPF 15, using colourless cartenoids that are activated by UV light, at which time they protect the skin against antoxidants in conjunction with Parsol 1789 which is a powerful sunscreen, to shield against the UVB and UVA Rays.

Moisturisation comes from this Moisture Restore Day cream in the form Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil and Shea Butter, all three are wonderful for enhancing the natural barrier of the skin, in turn increasing the level of hydration and leaving the skin smooth, soft and deeply moisturised.

Moisture Restore Day also caters for the more delicate skin, soothing with Cornflower, Chamomile and Matriaria Flower extracts.

For 50 ml, Moisture Restore Day is available for £36.50 in Nu Skin’s online store.

Next week we look at another range that is produced by Nu Skin, which targets more specific issues with the skin.
