Autumn is not just a new season full of incredible change and vivid colours, it is also the start of a new fashion and beauty season that is packed with possibilities and excitement. At Erisea Magazine we love Autumn, the changing leaves, the warm golden shimmer of the sun that covers everything in a glittery gold sheen, the rich vibrant colours everywhere and the beautiful feeling of being able to snuggle into scarves, coats and duvets.
Of course with the changing weather, we start to see a shift in what we wear and what make up we apply, we go for a whole new look when the seasons change. The best way to do this around Autumn is to take inspiration from nature, the environment around you, you only need take one look at the picture above to see some of the most beautiful shades that you can bring into your new look this season.
Lets take a quick look at just two options, one for your eyes and one for your lips.
To get a natural Autumnal feel to your eyes you want to go for the neutral shades, with a little edge to them. A great way to achieve this is to use a shade such as the Illuminated Eyeshadow from Lavera in Exotic Khaki.
At first glance the colours look to be a khaki green and salmon pink, in a swirl pattern, however the magic of this eyeshadow appears when you start to apply it. Once on the skin the eyeshadow creates a stunning gilded green shade, like sun kissed bronze on a late Autumn afternoon, making it perfect for the eyes this time of year.
The pigments transfer incredibly well, highlighting the skin and can be used dry for a more subtle look, or wet for a stronger, bolder hue that is more dramatic and suited to evenings out.
When it comes to something for your lips Lavera have that covered also with their Glossy Lips, lip gloss in Hazel Nude. Again a fantastic neutral shade that will compliment any autumnal look. The Hazel Nude is a rich, but subtle pinkish brown which leaves the lips with a hint of colour.
Containing organic rose and mallow, it is also incredible nourishing on the lips, which is a very important aspect as the weather becomes colder.
