Hi, we watched all of Eurovision to prepare us for Eurovision night.  Here it is act by act.

We look at the performers one by one and give a score for each.  Then we look at how Europe voted.

 

Moldova

Weird Police Outfits

Dance routines and Random set of stairs

Limber Woman Officer. Catchy gets the Eurovision audience clapping allong. But it sounds as if my phone is going off every once and a while.

Strobe Light Warning.

Male Vocalist. Catchy but dam the lights.

He lies on his back for part of the song. Weird.

Walk Along

Woman in lace on the face. (is it a song about Geordies)

Woman Vocalist – song sounds pretty good. But the repetitions of Why – does not do much for me.

A band of people with learning difficulties.

Definitely influenced by the sex pistols. Cant understand a word of the punk band.

Simple setup and a good vocal sound.

Ballad into dance music.

Traditional Foreign Language Song

Plain band setup to begin with. Black screens to a more colourful design.

If we could understand the reasons for the song – we might of enjoyed it more. It did not hit us emotionally.

Georgia

Random Thoughts:

Weird Outfit and very different to the most of the semi final.

Black punk. Very gothic feel. Not a dress – shorts. Catchy and likely to be a good outside pick for winner.

We think someone is watching her – the eyes pop in the background screen in the song.

Our Score: 8/10

10 out of 16 got through to the Final

A few surprises but we are only a UK Voice. Certain acts did not do it for us but we wish all of them good luck in the final.
