Fast & Furious 7

The heavily anticipated next instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise from Universal Pictures, is about to be released onto DVD and Blu-Ray on 7th September 2015.

Fans of the series will be thrilled to see Dom (Vin Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker), Mia (Jordana Brewster), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez0, Tej (Ludacris), Roman (Tyreese Gibson) and cop ally Hobbs (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), back in the driving seat.

As the brother of Fast & Furious 6’s Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), swear vengeance on the team, vowing to end all of them.  The first casualty of this war is Han (Sung Kang), who we saw die in Tokyo Drift at the hands of the Shaws which leads Dom to travel out to Tokyo and meet with Sean Boswell, who was there when it happened – remember the end of Tokyo Drift where we see Dominic for just a few seconds about to race Sean?  That is where we pick up with Fast & Furious 7.

Fast and Furious still - groupThe campaign waged against the team does not end there and as Dom, Mia and Brian, along with Jack their toddler, leave the house, it explodes in a true Fast & Furious style.  It take Dom and Brian not time to take Mia and Jack to the Dominican Republic and relative safety, whilst they assemble the other members of the team.

High octane action just doesn’t seem like an adequate way to describe the international journey the group make in an attempt to put an end to this vicious, relentless attack on them and their loved ones.  Dubai, London, Tokyo and the Dominican Republic are the destinations that will see some of the most incredible stunts ever witnessed on film as they try to recover a piece of technology the government have tasked them with acquiring, rescue the hacker who created it and all whilst trying to take down Shaw in the process.

Fast and Furious 7 still - beachFast & Furious 7 is not just another instalment, not just another film, it is the last one that Paul Walker stared in before his tragic death in 2013.  As the cast and crew truly seem to be a family, the incredibly emotional and touching end of the film is a fitting way to pay tribute to such an amazing actor.  Have your tissues at the ready.

Out on DVD and Blu-Ray on the 7th September, Fast & Furious 7 Extended Edition has a whole host of extra features:
