76029 Deluxe 8 Colour Lightsaver Room Light Insert ColoursIf you are, or you know a Star Wars fan, then this is a fantastic idea to give them an unusual gift!  The box comes with everything you need to build the Lightsaber that belongs to Rey in The Force Awakens, room light for your bedroom, or in fact any other room.  The real genius with this light presents itself with the instructions, they don’t just tell you how to put it together, but the sheet of instructions also explains the different parts of the Lighsaber, from the Focusing Crystal, down to the Blade Emitter.  The sheet also explains about electricity, lasers in basic detail, to give your child an interesting project that will also let them learn.

The fun part is of course putting it together, which is not a difficult task at all.  The instructions are clear and precise, coming in a variety of languages.  Once you have connected everything together and popped the batteries in, it is a good idea to see if your new piece of décor, that will be the envy of all who survey it, works.  The familiar sound of a Lightsaber powering up is quickly followed by the shaft illuminating in one of the 8 colours you can set the light to.
