Kiddies Kingdom

There is nothing more daunting than becoming a parent, for the first time.  Besides all of the concerns you will have about how you will look after this tiny human who is completely dependant on you for everything, you have to think about the things that you need to buy to make life easier, safer and more manageable.  Which car seat should you buy and how do they work?  What type of pram do you need?  What equipment do you need for bath time?  The questions are infinite and sometimes it is just so overwhelming you need someone to help you with a little advice and guidance.

Kiddies Kingdom is somewhere to do just that.

Essentially, Kiddies Kingdom is a state of the art supermarket for all of your purchasing needs when it comes to equipment you’ll need when a new baby comes along, they have been around since 1985 and so really know their stuff.  A new showroom covering 9000 square feet is opening on Sunday 30th July, the showroom can be found in Dewsbury and it is set to be a fantastic day with 20 Golden Tickets offering various prizes including cots, car seats and massive discounts.  There will be face painting, balloon artists, hand and feet casting for babies, finger print jewellery making, refreshments, further discounts on big spends, as well as experts on hand to answer questions about sleep and products.

Kiddies Kingdom is really innovative and has some incredible features in the showroom that will really benefit new parents, our favourite is the full sized car where you can practice fitting and removing a car seat!

Don’t worry if you can’t get along, all of the products are available online too and they boast Next Day Delivery, 1 hour time slots and even same day dispatch.

unnamedingdom, shoppingWe tried out their website and have received a beautiful Obaby Combination Wooden Highchair.  This is a stunning highchair made from natural wood, it looks pretty and is a fantastic highchair in itself, but it is so much more than just a highchair, when you aren’t using as such it turns into a baby sized table and chair!

Sleek and stylish, the highchair will fit right into place in any home, taking up an average amount of space.  Once assembled (all the parts and screws are included along with an Allen Key), it can’t be packed away or folded, so keep that in mind.  It has tremendous bonuses though besides looking fantastic and being extremely sturdy.

When used as a highchair, the Obaby has a tray that can be adjusted to give two positions, meaning that your child has the best experience when in the chair.  The tray is also wipe clean so now worries about mess!

It also comes with reigns, of course with safety being paramount in any piece of baby equipment you can feel at ease knowing that the five point harness is securely attached to the chair, keeping baby from slipping out, or once they are a little older trying to climb out.

Removing the tray altogether allows the functional highchair to become a snazzy miniature table and chair for your little one to use, whether it is for meals, drawing, playing or where ever their imagination takes them.

Obaby Combination Highchair is suitable for babies from 6 months old and comes with a 5 year guarantee once registered.

The only thing we would say is that the tightening of the screws with the Allen Key, can be quite taxing on your hands and one of the images included in the instructions has a lot going on and it can be easy to get muddled, just remember to follow the dotted lines to see where you secure the pieces together.  It took around fifteen minutes to build.  It is a real bargain at just £64.99 with FREE delivery!
