King’s Quest: A Knight to Remember, is the début chapter of King’s Quest from The Odd Gentlemen and Sierra Studios. Available on Steam, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it has a rating E10+, making it suitable for everyone to play.
The first instalment in a series of chapters that build upon its predecessor, King’s Quest is a game that has been around for over 30 years and has kept players captivated by its charm and fantastic game play. This new adventure sets to reignite that love for some, whilst capturing the imagination of a new generation of gamer as King Graham begins to tell his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, about all of the exciting escapades of his youth.
Young Gwendolyn can not get enough of her grandfather’s heroic adventures and laps up each and every moment, moments that are played out first-hand by you. Beginning at the very start, the best place some would say, we take control of King Graham as he embarks on a journey to become a knight, but this story is not one without difficulty, for it seems at every turn in Daventry, King Graham is pitted against puzzles and riddles.
It is your job to ensure the tale told by King Graham goes according to plan, as you travel through mysterious forests and meet unusual characters, you must uncover a way to win the Daventry Knighthood. Of course that means you have to get to the event first, then find a way in and deal with some rather unique and interesting fellows along the way!
Great fun that will have you glued to the console for hours, solving each puzzle as you go and becoming one step closer to being knighted with each solution. Very straightforward controls make the game an absolute joy to play and one that even the youngest of gamers will be able to partake in. Beautiful graphics and enchanting scenery really finish off the fairy tale, it feels as if you are walking through a story book!
