Kona – Early Access Game – Initial Look

October, 1970. Another long and cold winter is beginning in Northern Quebec, Canada. W. Hamilton, copper mine magnate in the region, hires private investigator Carl Faubert to look into cases of vandalism on his property. But when Carl shows up, a violent, unexpected blizzard is blowing, and Hamilton is nowhere to be found…

  • Step into a surreal interactive tale of mystery and investigate the perplexing quietness in the entire town.
  • Explore a vast, frigid Northern environment and battle the elements to survive.
  • Complete the first of four distinct acts, each offering between three to five hours of gameplay.
  • Enjoy the atmospheric soundtrack featuring music by Quebec folk band Curé Label.
  • Experience the tale through the omniscient, third-person storyteller.
  • Go back in time with a vintage look and feel reminiscent of 1970s rural communities.

So far it hit great home runs for us in the way it develops into a immersive experience with a level of sound and animation unexpected.

So far the story hit good ideas and has light puzzle elements that actually keep your brain active.  Plenty of mystery still to come in this Early Access game and we will hold on until completion before giving it a score.

  1. Spot on with this write-up, I seriously believe that this website needs far more attention. I’ll probably
be back again to read more, thanks for the information!

  2. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message
home a little bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog.
A great read. I will definitely be back.

  3. First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if
you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center
yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to
begin. Any suggestions or hints? Cheers!

  4. When some one searches for his vital thing, therefore he/she wishes to be available that in detail,
thus that thing is maintained over here.
