Martinhal Beach Resort – Family Friendly Luxury


Going on holiday as a family does not need to be a decision between activities for the children or the luxury and facilities parents crave however finding a resort that fits both needs can take quite a bit of research.

IMG_3451Martinhal Beach Resort is a beach front luxury resort that prides itself on the amazing facilities for both adults and children. With kids clubs for a variety of ages that are free during off-peak breaks and numerous heated swimming pools, play areas and even a games room children should never be bored.

Martinhal offers a variety of accommodation from hotel rooms to bay houses and they are all decorated to a very high standard. The amenities inside the accommodation show that Martinhal really do think about families as the bathrooms come with step stools, toilet inserts and a potty. There are even travel cots, high chairs and stair gates provided.

IMG_3454Martinhal offers a variety of dining options with a buffet breakfast featuring local delights as well as a traditional continental and hot breakfast. There are a selection of restaurants on site that are open at various times throughout the year where you can enjoy a snack, lunch or dinner. Each of the restaurants features a children’s play area where members of play staff are on hand during meal times to occupy the children whilst parents enjoy their meals. The food served at Martinhal is of a high standard whilst the selection will please most palates and the friendly staff are always happy to help with any dietary requirements.

IMG_3446As well as the four swimming pools there is also a gym available for use and the Finisterra spa offers a great chance to relax with the use of the sauna and steam room or by enjoying one of the many treatments on offer. If you are feeling sporty then head to Club 98, where you can make use of the tennis courts and multi-purpose sports field or down to the beach where the water sports centre can get you on to the waves windsurfing, paddling, kite surfing or kayaking.
