Meditation & Yoga by Dr Yogini Shubh Veer – Book Review

We love testing the boundaries and trying something new and different. Having never tried Meditation or Yoga to any large extent. Lets see how far down the rabbit hole this book can take us? Intrigued? Read on….

The full title is Mediation and Yoga, Discovering the higher spheres of existence. It tries to show off the key to success in this life and beyond.  The book is ideal for someone looking to improve their lifestyle.

It aims to present the intricacies of the different versions of Yoga and meditation in a simple clear language. Reading some of the sections, it felt reasonably clear but sometimes the wording were too hard.

Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga to name a few.

I liked the ideas it presented and found it an intriguing read.  The way it talks about how the body and the mind are linked, if the body is sick so is the mind and vice versa.

It was an intriguing read overall with some of the poses at the back of the book.  Sadly, it felt a little dry for a novice to read and would of wanting to read more on the subject broken down further – to a more basic level.

Still a solid read – 3/5 Score
