A quick update – this week. More stuff from thisweekly post is incoming and the plans will be big.
Weekend Results – 24th – 25th October
Fulham 3 – Charlton 0
Fulham seem to be starting to hit their stride under Kit Symons and they moved out of the relegation zone with a great performance against a mis-firing Charlton team.
Millwall 1 – Cardiff 0
Millwall bag their first victory since August. Cardiff meanwhile suffer their first loss under Russell Slade.
Birmingham 0 – Bournemouth 8
Bournemouth hit Birmingham where it hurts. Managerless Birmingham suffered their biggest defeat with the 8-0 loss.
Bolton 3 – Brentford 1
Bolton now have 2 wins out of 3 under Lennon and look to continue their great form this weekend.
Brighton 1 – Rotherham 1
Brighton have now drawn out of the last 10 games. They dropped a goal thanks to former team member Alex Revell.
Derby 1 – Wigan 2
Current league leaders Derby are now only top on Goal Difference – thanks to this loss. Wigan meanwhile look to build upon this new form – winless since the end of august.
Ipswich 2 – Huddersfield 2
Nahki Wells had to score twice to help Huddersfield battle back from 2 early Ipswich goals. A great game to watch.
Leeds 1 – Wolves 2
Leeds decided to sack their manager Milanic after 6 games without a victory. Wolves capitalized a lacking Leeds defence.
Middlesbrough 1 – Watford 1
Watford missed the opportunity to go top with a lacking performance against an improving Middlesbrough side.
Nottingham Forest 1 – Blackburn 3
Pearce’s Forest controlled the majority of the first half but missed opportunities lead to an easy win for Blackburn.
Reading 3 – Blackpool 0
Riga’s last game in charge was a bad one. Riga blamed the lack of important players – but in a league where everyone is fighting for something. Blackpool are lacking everything and needed a change.
Sheffield Wednesday 0 – Norwich 0
Man of the Match goes to Keiren Westwood. The Sheffield Wednesday keeper had to stop lots of late in the game shots.

Clark hired by Blackpool on a one-year rolling contract, Redfearn close to signing his head coach’s contract at Leeds and Symons given a chance permanently with Fulham.
