Sweet Imperfection, is my review quote for the game that tries every year – is always not quite right but will always bring my attention. Need Proof?
Year upon year of trying stuff out and experimenting with the game. My long save of Blackburn – I have got bored of because I have won the championship and premier leagues and cannot advance from them to a bigger team. That might be due to Blackburn now being the biggest team, but moving on from Blackburn options should be available. They aint.
My stats are good – but you come to that point in manager games where the amount you can do is small. The experience was good though, in that playthrough alone. I started at the bottom unemployed with no coaching badges. Managed FC United up a division, Accrington Stanley up two divisions and then Sheff Utd up one, then finally Blackburn up two. The occasional sidestep to go to a bigger team but progressing to bigger and better things. Will I play it again next year?Almost certainly. It keeps me going and I always have fun with it. At £5.00 or £7.00, which ever point I bought it at I had fun with it equal to around 10p for every hour played.Worth it yes. Perfect – it is not.4/5 rating
