Mothers Day With Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston created London’s very first ‘pick your own’ field of flowers ahead of Mothers Day this weekend.

Kidston-0001On a sunny Southbank in London, the iconic Great British brand recreated their signature polka-dot print out of 4,000 pink and white gerboras, which the public were invited to come and pick to bring home to mothers ahead of this weekend. Like a Mothers Day ‘Pick your Own’ in the heart of London.

The installation used over 60,000 petals and took a total 650 man hours to design and complete – but served as a vibrant reminder of Mothers Day to those who are likely to forget (according to statistics, that’s 64% of us!)
