Superhot – PC Game Review

An idealistic indie game that hits the right buttons at the right moments. Interested? Read On….

SUPERHOT is the first-person shooter in which time moves only when you move. With its mesmerizing gameplay and unique, stylized graphics SUPERHOT aims to finally add something new and disruptive to the FPS genre. See the bullets crawling towards you as you carefully plan your steps and aim your gun. Enjoy the mayhem that is unleashed as you put that plan into motion. Dodge bullets. Take out your enemies. One step at a time.

Graphically this game is very specific in an art style. Red guys are bad while different variety of white is the scenery.  The gameplay hits those same artsy edges with some levels been ridiciously hard (well for us).

It has a simple premise – you move time moves. So fine movements need to be done to a tee in the later levels, throwing a gun at some one is fun.

The game’s story is intriguing.  Enter a virtual reality world and play the game as a gamer.  It plays with the mind like a few games have recently – Undertale and Pony Island especially.
it has surprises along the way, including the ending. But dam – the ending.

A great game with high level of interesting content ideas.  Great art style with a interesting idea of a story.  Good gameplay mechanics with a good deal of replayability.

Only downside is a short campaign so we give this game a 4/5 rating.
