The fantasy world of Aventásia plays home to the point and click adventure, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2.

The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is not just any point and click game, it is full of humour, with plenty of nods to classic games, popular culture and other magical worlds that we all know and love.  It is also very much a role playing game, packed with puzzles, riddles and problems using the mechanics of a traditional point and click game.

Initially you play as Ivo, an Elf Princess who is in a slight predicament, one you must help her figure out.  The world is a little confusing for her right now and she soon finds out that there are problems in Seastone,  a town she must visit and wishes to help.  You also get to take the helm with Wilbur, a Gnome Mage, Nate and his furry companion Critter.

Throughout the game you have to solve puzzles and discover people, places and objects, all of which help you progress through the game and solve the ultimate mystery as to why the land of Aventásia is being turned into a girly, pink wonder world!

To us, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is reminiscent of Discworld, with lots of hat tips to fantasy shows and games, such as Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.  It is funny and engaging with over 25 hours of game play set in absolutely stunning landscapes and environments that are beautiful.

The Book of Unwritten Tales was developed by King Art Games and published by Nordic Games.  It is now available on Xbox One and PS4.  We thoroughly enjoyed playing this game that keeps you engaged and captivated for hours.
