The King’s Parade – New Look – Single Review

We are always on the look out for that next song to add to the ever-extending playlist. Enter King’s Parade with New Look – which is out now.

King’s Parade

A band we hadn’t heard of before. But the London Quartet formed in 2012. Aiming to prove they are no cookie-cutter guitar band.

Looking and listening to their back catalog, they are a band on the cusp of an ever unique sound. They push their sound to be a melding of blues pushing through with a modern pop vibe. Keeping the guitar riffs solid but relying on that ever soulful voice up front.

You hear the older blues, the newer indie and the mix of it all together.

Thoughts on the Song

Feels and sounds like a classic soft indie rock love song. It is one of those songs that could be a classic rock ballad but still you would get on a school dance. Ebbs and flows slow and purposefully.

Love the balance especially – will be adding it to my personal playlist.  Make sure to keep your eye on them.

4/5 Rating.

Song is out now.
