Blue, played by Leila Mimmack (Son of God), is a 19-year-old prostitute caught in the grasp of her violent, short-tempered pimp Freddie, played by David Sibley (Gandhi) and madam Julie Graham (Willam and Mary).
One drizzly night Blue is sent to the plush Regency terraced house that once used to be a Victorian Brothel. The client that she goes to meet, Bill played by Joseph Beattie (Brideshead Revisited), is renovating the famous Brighton house and Blue quickly falls for his charm and quirks.
As the two get to know each other the uncover a secret room that has laid hidden for decades. What they don’t realise is how closely Blue is actually connected to the property and the previous inhabitants, having been an orphan her whole life, this new discovery will unlock a chapter in Blues family history that is both terrifying and hauntingly dark.
As the demons of her past and present converge in the old Victorian Brothel, Blue is faced with a horrifying supernatural ordeal that is more than just a nightmare.
This psychological horror is the directorial début of John Shackleton, who wrote and produced Panic Button. It is filmed in such a way that the gravity of the situation, it is gritty, raw and tense. The main cast are joined on film by Christopher Adamson (Pirates of the Caribbean, Judge Dredd), Chris Waller (Fright Night 2, Inbred) and renowned horror critic Billy Chainsaw!
