Latest release on the Nintendo platform, Raji: An Ancient Epic looks to be a surprise package worth the try. It has the feel of Prince of Persia with a terrific Soundtrack.  Intrigued?  Read on….

Raji: An Ancient Epic

Raji is an action adventure game featuring terrific and gorgeous artwork and story steeped within Indian Folklore. In the game, the player takes on the title role of Raji, a young girl.  This young girl has been chosen by the gods to fend off demonic and nasty invaders.

Gameplay

The game play is a blend between environmental puzzles, fluid combat and godly powers.  Raji must battle the attacking demonic hordes to reach her brother Golu. Raji has taking up the task and has a battle on her hands.

Combat

The combat is focused on blending the flowing movements of the mystical. It also pushes the player towards attacking motions that look acrobatic and magical.

Weapons will come in all shapes and sizes and also acrobatic moves too. Expect to see the traditional Trishul and Sharanga bow to defeat the demonic threats.

Godly Powers

The player is meant to feel like a demigod residing with Raji, whilst still being the vulnerable human.  The player picks what gods to favour and each will provide different abilities to progress in the game.

Our Thoughts

Terrific Ideas from this game. Love the Prince of Persia style game with the artwork and soundtrack works great.  A feast for your eyes and ears.
