This January, IKEA is launching a stunning new family of vases – KONSTFULL – designed by Ilse Crawford and her design studio, StudioIlse.
Inspired by nature, the collection of vases are surrounded by ideas of mixing textures, shapes, colours and sizes. They aim to add a premium look and add to any feel to any room. The vases are made from recovered glass and mouth blown by skilled craftspeople.
These vases were created with Crawford’s ethos in mind – to make small everyday items fell special. This collection aims to bring a high value feel whilst still remaining affordable for the many.
We got our eyes on several of the vases and love the ideas behind recovered glass and that extra level of mouth blown – makes these intriguing.
They talk about the designs and looking through some of the designs and their pictures – some look stunning paired with the right flower. Some more complex vases cost £15 or £12 but even the £4 range has good design ethic.
