This is a game first released in 2001. Its a strategy war game with comedic elements thrown in. No building your armies from building or collecting resources, just strategy points and developing your army.
The story takes you on an adventure.
“On July 26, the Republic of the Pigs was overthrown by General Iron Tusk. After dealing with the remaining Republican loyalist forces in his territory, Tusk turned his attention to the neighboring nation of Carrotland, home of the Rabbits. The Rabbits worked out their strategy, too; and now the two species need to find a capable officer who can lead their operations.”
Key Features seen so far include a remastered graphic system with a new aspect ratio and more detail to the unit textures.
Game experience has been jazzed up to with improve unit ordering, historical bug fixes and even a extended zoom.
Multiplayer is back with the added advantage of doing it via LAN or online.
Thoughts
When games get remastered, you tend to go – oh big hitter from the past. To be honest, we do not remember about S.W.I.N.E – but from what we have seen dam it looks interesting.
