These Rehashed Reviews are a look-back at some of the games where we may have missed some initial review score points.  A game we reviewed initially in Dec 2017, we look back at Bridge Constructor Portal and see how it aged.

About

Enter the Aperture Science Enrichment Center one more time and go to experience the world of portals mixed with a bridge constructor.  This is a unique merging of two games with classic Portal mixed with the Bridge Constructor Games.

Features

Here is a quick look back at the main features of the game.

It merges the two worlds of Bridge Constructor and Portal with a creative look at the humour of it.

It has GlaDOS is back talking through the adventure.

To complete levels, you can use everything from portals, aerial faith plates, propulsion gel, repulsion gel and much more. Also having to evade dangers such as sentry turrets, emancipation grills, laser fields and acid.

The Level Editor adds an extra level of play-ability with more waves of levels to play.

Overall

It has not aged that well but with its cheaper price on mobiles and tablets – this is a good pickup for those devices.  We played it on PC and loved the premise and design, however in the 3 years PC Games have developed and it didn’t hit the high notes as it once did.

Solid 3/5 quality game with good level design and intrigue but only good for quick pick up and play games.
