EA have unveiled that the NFL MVP and Baltimore Quarterback Lamar Jackson is on the cover of all the editions of Madden NFL 21 franchise with the first artwork reflecting on his unique journey into NFL.
Also EA Sports have given players a first look at the gameplay of Madden 21 with a recent trailer showcasing current generation platforms (Link at the bottom of this article).
If you did not know already, Madden NFL 21 will be available worldwide August 28, 2020 for Sony PlayStation®4, Microsoft Xbox® One and PC via Origin™ and Steam.
What Lamar Said
In the latest press release released by EA, it shows he is excited to be the coverstar of this year’s game (don not tell him of the Madden Curse).
“I grew up playing Madden and owned every copy I could get my hands on, so to be on the cover of Madden NFL 21 is a dream come true, especially when the cover represents so much of my story,” said Lamar Jackson. “The welcome to the Madden family from around the league and from fans has been phenomenal and I think people will have a lot of fun with the new features coming in this year’s game.”
Madden continues to develop and “bring players closer to the field”. It looks to build a unrivalled gridiron experience with improvement in ball carrier mechanics for better control. That control will help with running back and receiver positions.
They are also looking to show improvements and enhancements in D Line mechanics that will develop to more responsive and fun pass rush predicaments.
They have added more to open field tracking to allow for more clutch moment defensive stops, and adding more celebrations too. Plus the visuals of the game cameras aim to make in more realistic.
More News are the new mode in game. Face of the franchise mode is a new playable “documentary” career campaign where you create your player and play through from High School Quarterback to NFL player. All from NFL Combine, NFL Draft and the Superbowl are there to experience.
